Team News
Stoke boss Tony Pulis has a fully-fit squad to select from for the Premier
League clash with Swansea at the Britannia Stadium.
Midfielder Charlie Adam came off during the 1-0 defeat at Chelsea last weekend due to illness, but has recovered in time for the visit of the Swans.
One Potters player who will not feature is defender Andy Wilkinson, who serves the second match of a three-game suspension.
Swansea are boosted by the return of Chico Flores and Nathan Dyer from suspension.
Defender Flores has missed three games since his red card against Sunderland, while winger Dyer sat out the Capital One Cup win over Crawley after his dismissal against Everton.
Manager Michael Laudrup expects Jonathan de Guzman and Ashley Williams and Pablo Hernandez to shake off injuries to feature.
Match Notes
Roberto Mancini and Mikel Arteta have both recently conceded that Stoke
remains one of the most difficult venues to visit in the country but Tony
Pulis has only won victory there in the last eight games.
That victory over doomed Wolves last April was their only one in the last 16 Premier League games so, despite a solid start to the campaign, Pulis probably needs a win to silence the doom and gloom merchants.
Swansea have suffered a mini-slump after three league games without a win and struggled to deal with Stoke's abrasive approach here last season. Expect another intriguing contest of styles.
Betting: Home 10-11, Away 14-5, Draw 12-5.
Stat of the game: In 24 visits to Stoke in the League Swansea have won just four times, most recently in March 2001.
John Percy’s prediction: Stoke City 2 Swansea City 0.
