Bendtner, who spent last season on loan at Sunderland scoring eight goals in 25 games, has slipped further down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium following the arrival of Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski.

The deal has recieved mixed reactions among Juventus fans, whose club had been linked with moves for Marco Borriello, Dimitar Berbatov and Fernando Llorente.

Bendtner, who joined Arsenal in 2005, will be competing with the likes of Mirko Vucinic for a starting spot at the Juventus Stadium and after completing his deal the 24-year old tweeted:

"I want to fulfil my potential here and show the fans my absolute best as that is yet to come. I am sure I will."
